

That being said I was able to look past these issues because the strategy elements and cards you use in the game have tons of variety so even though these issues persist you will find yourself returning back to the game time and time again. I will say though that the game could’ve been a little more balanced and the grinding is quite severe so expect to get frustrated every now and then. In fact the content can be that good at times that you’ll find yourself getting addicted pretty quickly especially if you’re a fan of these types of games.

Don’t get me wrong it’s far from being perfect and in order to get the full experience you do have to pay quite a lot, but the content that is available to you is actually pretty decent.

I do however like games that are free so of course I was prepared to give Eternal Card Game a go, and thankfully I’m glad I did. I’ve never been a huge fan of card games because they do get repetitive quite quickly and they do lack in terms of excitement in my opinion. You have to pay for certain items and the price is way too high for some of these items. At times the game didn’t always feel as balanced as it should, and that did annoy me a bit at times. There’s a huge amount of grinding you have to do in order to progress at times unless you pay to progress. There are a number of different cards for you to collect and this not only gives the game some replay ability but it also makes it very addictive as well. In terms of content the game has a decent amount for you to be getting on with and if you’re a fan of card games you’ll no doubt be satisfied with the content. The strategy elements in the game have been done really well and at times you really do have to think what to do which makes winning very rewarding. Why can't Gauntlet reset each month, and Forge, like the Ladder does? Pack opening is garbage - there should be a foil in every single pack, not every 3 or 4. Forge is still fun, but the rewards are grim. Foreword and forward Eternal Card Game is currently one of the biggest digital card games out there and is widely known as one of the best free-to-play ones. So a single mana screw game or a really bad start and any progress you have is shot. So: fast forward a few months in - gauntlet is now extremely difficult to say the least.
